If you’re anything like me you don’t really like styling sites. Sure, it’s something that we’ve got to do and we’ve all developed a way of doing it. Personally, I write it all by hand in my IDE and SFTP it up to the site and then click refresh to see how it all works out. We’d all agree that this is just stupidity, and that there has to be a better way to do things like this…
Well, enter Sebastian web from Microthemer who has a pretty nice way of speeding things up for us all. We’ve all grown accustomed to page builders like Beaver Builder, well, most of us have, so why not have a WordPress interface to speed up the process of writing CSS? Microthemer does that! You can point and click on elements on your pages and posts and then use the many options to alter just about anything that you can think of.
Right now the plugin is really solid, and in my testing, worked a treat, but Sebastian has plans to make Microthemer even better with a comprehensive roadmap.
I should add that Sebastian is a really nice chap and has done pretty much all of the work on this plugin by himself. I don’t know about you, but I think that that’s amazing, and worthy of massive kudos!
If you’re feeling annoyed by the drudgery of writing your CSS, give this episode a listen and have a play with the plugin and see if it can save you some valuable time.
